The Promise is Near

I strongly believe that dreams are one of God’s ways of communicating with his children. It is God’s unique way of speaking to our spirit. It is important for us to pay attention to our dreams because there is always a divine message within them. This is why it is crucial to cover yourself in prayer prior to going to sleep.

There is a war going on in the spiritual realm. It is not a coincidence that these past few weeks have been tough or your dreams have been intense. It seems like you are working hard and being consistent, yet there is always something going wrong. In the physical, it might seem like everything is falling apart. In this past week alone, I have felt extremely exhausted. I felt physically, emotionally, and spiritually tired. I was almost confused as to why all of this was happening.

“For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places”- Ephesians 6:12 MEV. Spiritual warfare is real. While everything seems to be rough in the physical, it makes us ask “Why is all this happening right now?” I was quickly reminded that the promise is near. There is a blessing on the other side of all this. You are one step closer to your promise and the enemy is trying everything in his power to distract you. Think about this “Why would the enemy be trying so hard if there was no blessing on the other side?” There is a reason for this fight. This is confirmation that this is your season. In this time, God is fighting the battle on our behalf and the battle is already won.

In this time, it is important that we have faith. Faith is an action. It is doing the work, while trusting God will handle the rest. All we have to worry about is doing the physical work, while God fights our spiritual battles. The best way to keep faith in the midst of spiritual warfare is meditating on the Word of God. It is important that we continue to gain knowledge for wisdom and insight (Hosea 4:6). Also, you want to stay present in God’s peace to avoid getting distracted.

If these past few weeks have been difficult for you, please consider yourself blessed. You are so close to your promise, but you have to keep going and putting in the work. It might seem like you still have so much work to do in the physical, but things are moving at an accelerated pace in the spiritual. “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through Him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God”- 2 Corinthians 1:20. As long as it is according to His will for your life, the answer is yes. All you have to do is pray, stay consistent, rest, and believe that God will fulfill His promises.

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God”- 2 Corinthians 10: 3-5 NIV. During this time, use your mighty weapon of warfare. The enemy would not be trying to fight if you were not so close to your blessing. Remember, a scripture a day will keep the enemy at bay.
